Combine cracker crumbs and butter. Press into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 325 for 10-14 min. Let cool. In a bowl, dissolve jello in boiling water, stir in strawberries and lemon juice. Chill til set, approximately 1 1/2 hours. In a mixing bowl beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and salt til smooth. Fold in whipped cream. Spread half over cooled crust. Pour jello mixture over filling refrigerate til firm. Top with remaining cream mixture.
STRAWBERRY DREAM SQUARES
2 cups finely crushed graham crackers
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 8 oz. pkg. softened cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup sliced Shuksan strawberries (may use frozen but need to thaw & drain)
3 cups Cool Whip
3 1/2 cups cold milk
2 3.4 oz pkg of vanilla instant pudding.
Mix graham cracker crumbs and butter; reserve 2 Tbsp and set aside. Press remaining crumb mixture onto bottom of 13x9 pan.
Combine cream cheese and sugar in large bowl. Stir in strawberries. Gently stir in 2 cups cool whip; spread evenly over crust.
Beat milk and pudding mixes with whisk for 2 min. Pour over cream cheese filling. Refrigerate 1 hour. Top with remaining cool whip and sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Refrigerate.
